Jeff Jones gives the Joker a new name in latest edition of ‘Further Bright Spot’

Mostly, his background was obscure but the Joker has been known for his diverse civil identities over the years. Alan Moore gave him one in Murder joke. Tim Burton penned a full origin story for him in 1989 Batman Saved movie Animation series And the Batman 89.

The new Joker name is an unnecessary wrinkle in the Johns lore but since it’s an alternate universe, we’ll see if “Jack Oswald White” is consistent when it will always be Jack Napier.
